Waxy Corn Starch is an enzyme-modified food starch. It is a highly soluble, clean-label starch that is resistant to retrogadation (recrystallization). It is a free-flowing, slightly hygroscopic powder that is easily soluble in water and consists of a special carbohydrate composition.
Waxy Corn Starch is used due to its excellent water solubility and high water binding capacity.
It has a neutral taste and is suitable as a neutral carrier for flavors and fruit powders.
