Areas of Use:

Triethanolamine is used in the production of surfactants such as emulsifiers. It neutralizes fatty acids, helps adjust pH, and dissolves components that are not completely soluble in water.

Cleaning Sector: It is used in cleaning products such as general cleaners, liquid laundry detergents, liquid dishwashing detergents, and hand disinfectants.

Cosmetics Sector: It acts as a pH balancer in many different cosmetic products such as skin cleansing creams, milks, moisturizers, lotions, shampoos, sunscreens, shaving creams. It is a strong base and for this reason, Triethanolamine-based cleansing milks, cream emulsions are especially good at removing make-up.

Chemical Sector: Used as a laboratory chemical. It is a complexing agent for aluminum ions in aqueous solutions.
