Scope of application:
It is suitable for the production of personal care products (shampoo, shower gel, bubble bath, toothpaste, liquid soaps) and high viscosity hand dishwashing formulations.
Features:
It is an anionic detergent and surfactant.
It is a very effective foaming agent.
Due to its chemical structure, it can easily increase the viscosity of the formulation in the presence of low electrolyte content.
It is a paste that can be pumped at room temperature.
Thanks to its low water content, it is not susceptible to microbial contamination.
It forms a high viscosity gel phase at concentrations between 28 and 65%.
Storage conditions:
It should be stored at temperatures below 40 °C.
Temperatures above 45 °C should be avoided, even for short periods, as hydrolysis may occur with the formation of sulfuric acid.
When the product needs to be heated, it should be heated with water at a temperature below 50°C. It is strictly prohibited to use steam to heat the product.
Contact with acids may cause hydrolysis.
