Shellaki is from the purslane family, also known as cat nails. It is a drought-tolerant annual dwarf plant whose shoots spread over the ground and cover the surface of the soil. Silk flowers, which are grown in all tropical regions of the world and in our country, have coniferous leaves, simple or multi-layered, mixed-colored, very pleasant and showy flowers resembling arbor roses. Silk flower does not require much attention.
