The plastic measuring device PCE-MA 60XT enables precise and simple moisture determination in various materials. In the plastic measuring device, the sample is automatically weighed, dried and the weight loss is displayed as moisture content. This measuring principle does not require the creation of time-consuming characteristic curves and ensures that the plastic measuring device is immediately ready for use shortly after installation.
An electromagnetic load cell is integrated into the plastic measuring device, which records the weight loss for the weighing task with a measurement resolution of 0.1 mg = 0.0001 g. A 400-watt round halogen lamp was placed on the lid to provide an even heat distribution for drying the sample.
The plastic measuring device user can access the internal product database or adjust the drying temperature product-specifically between 35°C and 160°C in 1°C steps to prevent sample burning. Preset drying parameters are available in the product database, which can be easily expanded and modified by the user.
