Nutrimedia is a nutrient medium produced for the development of thermophilic lactic bacteria used in the production of fermented milk products and yoghurt.
With its buffering feature and the microorganism stimulators it contains, the bacteria are encouraged to work and a higher number of active bacteria per unit volume is achieved.
• It prevents the proliferation of bacteriophages with the help of its ingredients.
• Contains mineral substances, vitamins and nitrogenous components that support the growth of bulk lactic starter cultures.
• It is buffered, thanks to its pH control, it provides the growth of more active microorganisms than bulk starter cultures prepared with skim milk and milk powder.
Usage: Nutrimedia usage dosage is 6%. To prepare 1000 kg of bulk starter culture, 60 kg of Nutrimedia T6 is dissolved in 960 kg of drinking water quality water. It is pasteurized at 85-90 degrees for 30 minutes and cooled to the incubation temperature.
