It is used in textile quality control laboratories to determine the color and fume fastness of the sample as a result of friction.
Samples can be tested wet and dry.
The samples are rubbed against the dry undyed, cotton accompanying fabric.
The coloration rate of the accompanying fabric is determined according to the staining gray scale.
The device has 2 different models, manual and motorized.
The motorized version is used when a large amount of testing is required.
It automatically stops at the desired number of transactions.
