Making Meringue (mereng)
Making Meringue (mereng)
You can make meringue at home in 2 different ways;
1. Bain-marie meringue making
2. Making meringues without heating
Today we will share with you the recipe for meringue made without heating. The materials required for this are as follows;
- 3 egg whites
- 1 cup of powdered sugar
- a pinch of salt
Equipment;
- mixer
Let's separate the whites of the eggs that come to room temperature and put them in a glass bowl. Add a pinch of salt and beat it with a mixer for about 15 minutes until the foam becomes foamy.
Slowly add powdered sugar (approximately 1 tablespoon each) on the foamy egg whites and continue beating. Beating should be at high speed. If the mixture stays at the end of the mixer when you lift the mixer, it's done. A socket is placed at the end of the squeezing bag. Fill the mixture into a piping bag and squeeze it as you wish on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 100 degrees for 60 minutes.
