Wood painting starts with the preparation of the paint. The paint used should be fluid. For this, you should adjust your thick consistency paint by thinning it with water. The paint should neither be too dark nor too thin (watery). If it's too watery, your wood may not hold paint.
Wood should be sanded before painting. After sanding, it should be cleaned with a cloth.
After the paint and wood are prepared, the painting process begins. First, the brush should be slightly dipped in water. If the brush is too wet, the water ratio of the brush can be reduced by rubbing the brush on the newspaper.
Next, the brush must be dipped in paint. Considering the wood as flat blocks in the painting process both facilitates painting and improves the quality of painting. From this point of view, the brush should be swept over the wood in flat blocks and never move to the side block before a block is finished. With this method, the 1st layer painting process should be finished.
After the first coat of paint is finished, the wood is left to dry for 15-20 minutes. The second coat of paint of the dried wood is discarded. In general, 2 coats of painting is ideal. After this process, the desired decoration is made on the wood.
